ReGen Powertech manufactures gearless 1.5 MW Class III Wind Energy Converters (Wind Turbines) with variable speed and permanent magnet generators. For turbine manufacturing, they have a technical license agreement with Vensys Energy AG, a global leader in wind turbine manufacturing.
Their wind turbines are currently based on the 1.5 MW platform. The rotors come in different diameters (77m, 82m, 87m), based on the model. Their wind turbines have a hub-height of 85 meters. ReGen Powertech is expected to introduce 2.5 MW & 3 MW wind turbines for the Indian market, shortly.
in addition to manufacturing wind turbines, ReGen Powertech also offers turnkey solutions for wind power plants. Among other services, they provide consultancy, supply, erection, commissioning, operation & management of wind power plants.
ReGen Powertech will shortly be commissioning a new manufacturing facility at Udaipur, Rajasthan in order to augment their existing manufacturing capacity at Tada. ReGen Powertech introduced the Vensys 87, a 1.5 MW third generation wind turbine at the recent Wind Power India 2012 expo, at Chennai.
