Founded in 2000, WinWinD is headquartered in Finland and has manufacturing facilities/offices, both in Finland and India. They offer 1 MW & 3 MW Wind Turbines, turnkey construction, operation & maintenance services (among others) for the Indian wind energy market.
WinWinD WWD-1
WWD-1 is their 1-MW wind turbine with a 60 meter rotor diameter for low/medium wind sites and sites that are physically difficult to access (mountains, etc.). WWD-1 is a pitch regulated upwind turbine with integrated power unit, rotor, nacelle, tower & other components.
WinWinD WWD-3
WWD-3 is their 3-MW wind turbine with 109 meter rotor diameter for slow wind speed sites and 90 meter rotor diameter for higher wind speed sites. It's a IEC Wind Class II utility-class turbine. The WWD-3 is a pitch regulated upwind turbine with integrated power unit, rotor, nacelle and other components. Since WWD-3 has two 1.5 MW converters running in parallel, there is redundancy in operation, as one will work even if the other fails.
WinWinD 3
WinWinD 3 is a utility-scale 3 MW wind turbine with 120 meter rotor diameter for low/medium wind speed sites. The nacelle weighs 80t and is substantially lighter, for easier installation. The WinWinD 3 has an integrated power unit along with main bearing, planetary gearbox and permanent magnet synchronous generator. They also use their own control systems and conversion inverters.
