ZETCO ENERGY is a manufacturer of micro wind turbines whose capacities range between 6 KW and 30 KW. Their micro wind turbines are based on Danish design/technology and are manufactured in the EU. I met their representative at the recent Wind Power India 2012 exhibition and that's how I came to know about them.
Micro wind turbines are much smaller than the larger wind mills used in huge power plants, but they do have their own niche and applications. If your facility is located in a windy region (eg. sea shore, hill top, etc.), you might want to take advantage of the high wind levels of those regions and generate electricity for your facility.
But, the normal (larger) windmills might be an overkill (both price and generated power) for small applications. It is in such scenarios that micro wind turbines are very useful. Micro wind turbines can also be used in residential/farmland applications.

ZETCO ENERGY manufactures four micro wind turbine models - ZETWIND 6 KW, 7.5 KW, 25 KW, 30 KW. All these models use a 4-pole generator type and come with 3 wings. Their hub height can vary between 18m to 30m, based on the model and the site and their rotor diameter varies from 7.4m to 15.5m. Their cut-in/cut-out wind speeds are 3 m/s to 25 m/s, respectively.
