The much awaited Wind Power India 2012 exhibition and conference begins today, at Chennai. Since I live in Chennai, I plan to attend the exhibition tomorrow and will update my readers on the expected new product launches and all the latest developments in the wind energy sector, in India and the world.
Of course, the wind energy industry industry in India is also expecting the Government to return to the Generation Based Incentive (GBI) which was discontinued in March, this year. Let us hope to receive a favorable announcement from the Govt. during this conference. They too want a share of all the attention, that is being thrown generously at developing solar energy in India. I think it's only fair.
I am looking forward to meet the manufacturers, system integrators, power plant developers and everyone else. I will be writing individual articles on vendors and their offerings so that my readers can get a good idea about products/solutions related to the wind energy industry, over the next few days (starting from tomorrow).
Stay tuned for the complete coverage on Wind Power India 2012 expo and the various exhibitors, right here on http://www.solarwindhydroenergy.com !! If you live in Chennai, it's time to pack your lunch and visit the exhibition directly. It's ok if you don't want to pack your lunch, as there is a nice canteen in the Chennai Trade Center!
