Chennai: If You have Installed Solar Panels, Get Featured on SolarWindHydroEnergy.com!!

If you live in Chennai and if you have installed Solar Panels at your House or Office, you could now get featured on SolarWindHydroEnergy.com!! 

This initiative is mainly to showcase your solar panel installation on this site and convey your experience to a wider audience, so that many more people will be inspired to install solar panels at their homes/offices. Since the solar power industry is relatively new in India, it is important to share your experiences (while buying/installing/operating solar panels) so that others can get to know about them, learn from your experiences and be guided in the right direction.  

The process is simple: If you already have an operating solar panel installation, just send a mail to: solarwindhydroenergy [at] gmail [dot] com with your name, ph. no, address and the installed capacity of solar modules (there is no minimum as such, but 1 KW will be preferable). I will mail you back and once we agree on a suitable time/date, I will personally visit your house, take photos of the solar panels and have a small discussion with you. Based on the discussion, I will write an article (with photos) about your solar panel installation, which will be read by many people visiting this site. 

The process may require you to spend around 30 minutes to 1 hour, at your home. Of course, it will take sometime for me to write the article - a couple of days, in most cases. There is no cost involved for this activity, as long as you are located in and around Chennai. I may not be able to feature all the requests (especially if there are many), but I will try to accommodate as many as possible.

I will shortly consider expanding this activity to other regions of India, where people can send their solar panel photos over email and I would conduct a short phone interview to gather their experiences. But that will take some time - stay tuned.
